Sustainable growth
At C3IA, we have a deliberate and incremental approach to growth, and we continue to be ambitious for the future.
Our story so far
Our journey has been marked by steady growth and success, with a few challenges along the way. Each milestone has contributed to who we are today, and we look forward to our continued growth and development.
Where it all started. On March 17th 2006, C3IA Solutions Ltd was incorporated, marking the start of our commitment to delivering exceptional security and technical services.
Early expansion. Our team grew to four permanent employees with a few associates, working across five contracts and setting the stage for future growth.
Establishing our base. We opened our first Head Office on Commercial Road in Poole, laying the foundation for our regional presence and operations.
We achieved ISO 9001 certification.
Forging key partnerships. We began our ongoing partnership with Silvus Technologies Inc.
Reflecting our specialisation in information security, we achieved ISO 27001 certification.
Expanding our headquarters. As our team continued to grow, we established a new Head Office in Poole.
A significant commitment. We signed the Armed Forces Covenant, affirming our support for the Defence and Armed Forces Community.
C3IA becomes one of the first 6 companies to be certified by the National Cyber Security Centre to deliver cyber services, now known as a NCSC Assured Cyber Security Service Provider.
Recognised as a critical defence supplier. During the pandemic, we were instrumental in maintaining the UK Government's priority defence outputs.
Leadership transition. Our Co-Founders transitioned from their roles as Company Directors, paving the way for a new Board aligned with our founding values to secure the future of the company and its team.
Reaching new milestones. With over 50 employees, we become a medium-sized business, continuing to thrive in our delivery of specialist support.
Still growing! We relocated to a new Head Office in Poole and expanded to a satellite office at the Business Cyber Centre in Chippenham.
We were proud to receive the Employer Recognition Scheme Gold Award and to re-sign the Armed Forces Covenant, with then Deputy Chief of the General Staff and Master of Signals, Lieutenant General Dame Sharon Nesmith counter-signing our recommitment.
A pivotal expansion. C3IA Technologies established as a new business within the C3IA Ltd group. C3IA Technologies delivers engineering expertise and partners’ capabilities for end-to-end radio data services, including as the UK Master Distributor for Silvus Technologies’ StreamCaster MANET radio capability.
We achieved ISO 14001 and 45001, as well as gaining ITIL Level 2.
