As C3IA’s Operations Director, Jim plays a central role in overseeing the strategic and operational delivery of services across C3IA’s portfolio ensuring operational excellence, resilience, and client satisfaction. His day-to-day work includes; resolving delivery challenges, ensuring company processes are efficient, and aligning operational capabilities with business objectives. Jim also liaises closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure that services are tailored to their evolving needs, while maintaining a strong focus on quality assurance, risk management and continuous improvement.
With over a decade at C3IA, Jim brings a wealth of operational leadership and security expertise, shaped by a distinguished 30-year career in the Armed Forces and 8 years in a government agency. His deep understanding of cyber threats and mitigation strategies developed through years specialising in information security now underpins his strategic oversight of service delivery, operational management, and process optimisation. His achievements include securing C3IA’s position in the NCSC’s Assured Cyber Security Consultancy Scheme and earning recognition as a Chartered Cyber Security Professional. He is passionate about aligning operational strategy with evolving client needs and remains committed to staying ahead of emerging trends in operational best practice.
Outside of work, Jim enjoys road cycling, keeping fit, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
