Originally working with C3IA as an Associate in 2015, John joined C3IA’s management team in 2016 to support the company’s sustainable growth strategy. Joining the Board of Directors in 2021, he served as the company’s Managing Director and Chair of the Board from 2021 until 2025. In 2025 he was appointed as C3IA’s Non-Executive Director and Chair, responsible for leading the board and supporting the business with its development and growth. John was originally drawn to C3IA for its strong sense of purpose, people, and positivity; these qualities remain a daily motivator and a huge source of professional pride for him.
John has 40 years of experience operating in complex, technical, sensitive, and security-conscious environments in both the public and private sectors, ranging from large multinationals to micro professional services, and including 26 years of military service.
Beyond his work with C3IA John plays an active role in supporting charitable organisations and enjoys ever-important gym time, live music and theatre events, RHS Wisley walks with his garden-loving wife, and watching his adult son play semi-professional rugby.
