Laura joined C3IA as a Principal Consultant in 2013 having completed 22 years military services.
She initially worked as a service management expert leading a team of 10 engineers providing engineering and service management support to a large Military HQ.
Laura transitioned to the Information Assurance and Cyber sector in 2015 where she was mentored and developed prior to moving to her current role as a Security Lead within defence. Her cyber security knowledge and experience within the MoD has made her a key member of her team and the wider organisation.
Laura is one of the longest serving employees and states that it was the ethos, values and people that drew her to C3IA and these remain predominant today.
Laura is a keen runner, hiker and skier and loves to spend time outdoors with her husband and dog. As she becomes older and no longer sets running personal bests, Laura has decided to set herself new challenges each year. She has recently finished a 50km ultra marathon and is attempting to complete the Spine Pennine Way Challenger South, a 108 miles race from Edale to Hardraw with a time limit of 60 hours. Who knows what the running future holds for her!
