People and Organisation

The majority of the C3IA Team are directly involved in delivering contracts for our clients.  We have permanent and fixed term employees and Associates, the majority of whom we have had a long-term relationship with: something of which we are proud.

Our team members are employed in a wide variety of roles; Consultants, Principal Consultants and Managing Consultants, Engineers, Lead Engineers and Chief Engineers, and Business Support Administrators and Managers.

C3IA has a Board of Directors that provides the company’s overall strategy and direction and is ultimately responsible and accountable for its performance. They are directly supported by a Resource Manager, Engineering Manager, Managing Consultant, Business Manager and a Business Support & Administration team, to whom all members of the wider team have access if required.

The delivery arms of the company have Sector Managers, responsible for Information & Communications Technology & Engineering (ICT & Eng) and Threat & Risk Management (T&RM).  The Sector Managers lead and support Delivery Managers, Delivery Leads,  Consultants, Engineers and Teams within their Sector, but in the spirit of openness and free information flow, anyone in the team has access to a Director at any time if needed.

Information & Communications Technology & Engineering (ICT & Eng) Sector –  The ICT & Eng sector has a broad remit, delivering Communication & Information System Engineering throughout the entire systems engineering lifecycle, IT Service Management, Project, Programme & Portfolio Management services and Business Strategy & Transformational Change consultancy. We are privileged to number many Chartered Engineers and highly accomplished consultants across a range of management disciplines within our team, but whatever level they join us at, their development never stops.

Threat & Risk Management (T&RM) Sector – The T&RM sector delivers National Cyber Security Centre Certified consultancy services. To qualify us to do this, the C3IA T&RM team have undergone technical interviews and assessments to achieve NCSC consultancy status, which means that the level of service offered, the skills of our consultants and the quality of their work has achieved UK Government accreditation. Our consultants have a detailed understanding of both HMG and commercial challenges when delivering Cyber and Digital security services at Corporate or at Small/Medium Enterprise level.

Continuous Professional Development (CPD) – Across both delivery sectors of the company and within the Head Office, there is a strong emphasis on CPD and we consider it a business activity as important as any other; indeed we vest a formal responsibility within each delivery sector in a Head of Profession from the Senior Management Team. We are proud to invest in every individual’s development and play a proactive role in through-life learning, sponsoring appropriate courses and professional memberships for many team members. All permanent employees have a CPD Plan and many Associates have chosen to develop one with us too; we consider peers and senior mentoring, support, study time and access to Subject Matter Experts and wider information to be as worthy of recognition for CPD as courses and qualifications.
